Our Doctors

My story began in Malaysia, where I spent the first six years of my life. To this day, I have a deep love for Southeast Asian culture and cuisine, and I try to return whenever possible. In 1970, my family immigrated to California, which has been home ever since. I attended high school in Sunnyvale, then pursued Molecular Biology at San Jose State University before earning my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. I graduated in 1990 and immediately began the career that continues to inspire me daily.

I am a native to the area and grew up in Red Bluff, Ca. As a Junior in High School, I was lucky enough to start my career path in the dental profession and started as a sterilization technician and dental assistant in 2001. After graduating from Chico State University, I was accepted into the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and graduated in 2010 with High Honors.

Dr. Claire Hsu, DMD is a California native who discovered her passion for dentistry while volunteering at Free Dental Clinics during her undergraduate studies at UC San Diego. She earned her dental degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Hsu loves the intricacies and art of dentistry and is passionate about empowering patients to take control of their oral health.
